What are the key elements of NEOM?
Construction of NEOM is already well underway. Its first destinations will come online in 2024. The project is phased, with different elements due to ‘go live’ at different times.
Oxagon will be a reimagined industrial city, fostering an advanced and clean industrial ecosystem by embracing the tenets of Industry 4.0 and circularity principles. This initiative aims to redefine the conventional industrial city, placing a significant emphasis on innovation, people, and sustainability. Oxagon is due to welcome its first residents in 2024.
Trojena will be a year-round global mountain destination. It’s set to offer a rich blend of outdoor skiing, adventure sports, and unrivalled tourism experiences, all while harbouring a strong commitment to principles of sustainability. The city will feature luxury chalets scattered across various development areas, including the Slope Residences, the Water Village, and the Lake Village, each offering a touch of opulence amid the rugged mountainous beauty. Trojena is due to open in 2026.
The Line – a linear city set to redefine urban living. The Line will place a strong emphasis on sustainability, technological integration, and human-centric design. The city will be 170 kilometres long and just 200 metres wide. It will operate entirely on renewable energy, with a commitment to have no roads, cars, or emissions.
95% of the land is earmarked to be preserved for nature, illustrating a strong commitment to environmental sustainability. It is designed to harmonise technology, nature, and comfort, creating a unique urban space.
The first residents will move into The Line in 2026. By 2030, there will be at least 1,000,000 residents.
